5 Proven Steps to Better Sales...

Study and implement the following "steps" and keep them at the core
of your business strategy—making sure you are working all angles to drive sales and increase customer commitment:
1. Make it a priority to 'touch' customers often– via regularly scheduled
customer campaigns, phone blitzes, marketing promos, surveys,
email updates, rewards programs, etc.
2. Listen to your customers and listen intently— learn from and proactively
respond to their feedback and concerns. Go above and beyond to
deliver what they ask for ...not what you think they need!
3. Follow up and follow through. Follow up and follow through (worth
repeating!) No customer, prospect or lead should ever go untouched, unnoticed or underserved...period.
4. Never compromise on: (a) Product/service quality and (b) Creative
ways to better serve your customers.
5. Stop watering dead plants! In other words, don't waste valuable time
chasing phantom opportunities. Instead, perform a database/pipeline
'detox' by purging dormant (2+ years) customers/prospects—this
includes customers who have ceased doing business with you and
prospects who have consistently avoided making a purchasing
commitment. There's a 99% chance that these prospects will
never buy from you. Place your focus and efforts instead on cultivating
clients/ prospects who will bring you repeat business...who will refer
you to colleagues and friends.
Staying connected to your customers/prospects, and keeping the sales and marketing wheels of your business well oiled, will inevitably allow leads and sales opportunities to flourish!
